Intentional Photography

article image placeholderUploaded by @HeatherB
The inside is digital. Now it gets better. Each camera, or I shouldn't say each camera, each time you get 27 photos. So think back for those of you that are my age, I'm not going to disclose that fully, but you know, I have three teenagers. When you used to have your camera, your roll of film, and you got 27 pictures. You were intentional about what you took pictures of

You. So I'm excited that she's excited because she did comment on the number of apps that she's no longer using. She actually is tuning out a lot of the noise, and she thought that this was a really cool way to do that, another way for our twins and teens to gain back their time, to gain back their intentional use, and to really focus on what's important in capturing special moments

It's special and it's real and we miss that so much when we are kind of entrenched in the realm of the digital that feels so malleable and also constricting at the same time. I don't know. But I love this and I love that you not only talk about this item itself, which I think I would love to try, I'm literally going to go on their website right now and check it out. But also the idea of what else can we apply this concept to?

And, yeah, I'm still waiting for my daughter, but thank you so much for your reply and let me know if you do get one and then if you do, and then what your experience is like. I'm so excited to hear from other people

And I think my mom said this, you can't just be clicking away, clicking away and then trying to get the perfect shot. It's kind of like a candid moment when you have film camera because you only get that one shot or two if you would like to waste a piece of film. But, yeah, I really do love this concept, and I am definitely looking forward to buying one and trying it out because it sounds very, very cool

I'm just curious as to what the general, I guess vibe is amongst you guys and how you perceive this affecting your group of friends and do you see it being adopted by them and why?

But in general, I'm not really sure with my friends and age group if this is something that they've wanted. I do know that I have a few friends in Singapore that do love film cameras, and I see them post their film all the time. And I think that they would be very open to this idea of this new camera and and I don't know, I think it's more of like a personality thing, but I really couldn't say

Thanks again for joining us, Eden. I think it's really valuable to have the voices of your generation, especially since I'm mostly talking to parents of tweens and teens. But it's nice to have feedback and include you guys in the conversation, obviously giving you guys autonomy and and agency and so forth. And so I hope you join us more and maybe some of your friends will join in these conversations to help us understand things as well
