Divorce: How I told my 8 year old.😩
I think one of the hardest parts of my divorce journey was making the decision to explain to my son or give him the information of what was about to happen. The divorce papers were not even filed yet, but I wanted to be very intentional on how I presented this information to him. And I wanted to let him have the information beforehand because I didn't want to go through the whole process. And then at the end, it was just like a surprise, oh, this is what is happening

Because, of course, divorce is not anything that anyone's jumping at the chance to do, but it's because you need to do it. And it took some time to understand. Of course it does when you're a kid, but, um but yeah, it's it's it sounds like like you said everything everything right and everything in a very loving way. And that's that's the best that you can do, I think, within the circumstances
