I didn't meet any of those types, but police officers and professors, people who easily made six figures, and then people who were just making, I don't know, somewhere around 50 or 60K. Riding a motorcycle, like owning one, is an expensive hobby
And I know I was being looking back, of course I realized I was not even looking back at that time after that happened. I thought, God, that was dumb. You knew he liked you. Why didn't you? Blaming myself and all that. And the next time I went to the bar, it was a long time past, and he didn't show up there anymore for whatever reason. Maybe it was because of what happened to me. I don't know
And it sucks that I felt like I needed validation from what happened, but it taught me a great lesson about being more believing in myself, not doubting something that I know happened to me. Making excuses for other people, being more careful about who I choose as friends, and let the vetting press process be longer than just, oh wow, yeah, he seems cool. That the nicest people with the best reputations can hurt you, so be careful
