In the frigid temperatures, rescuers have been battling against the clock to find and save stranded individuals while waiting in agony atop piles of debris where family and friends may still be buried. They have been forced to take temporary shelter and food in the icy winter cold. According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, assistance have been provided to Turkey by 70 nations, as well as 14 international organizations. These nations include the US, the UK, the UAE, Israel and Russia
