He loved everYone. He NEver Had a problem with anyone. And this is the reason why Jackie, by Branch Rickey, excuse me, hired him in the first place. Because at first, they were looking at Josh Gibson. They were looking at Satchel page, a lot of people thought that Satchel page would be the first black major league ballplayer. He's a, he was a fantastic pitcher. And, but the only THIng was, was he wasn't able to control his anger

This was so great to listen to. I don't know that much about baseball, and I didn't know anything about Jackie Robinson, really. So it's great to get to know him through your words. Thank you so much for sharing

Thank you very much for your Reply. Yes, Jackie Robinson was a fantastic baseball player. He really went through a lot in his life, and not only on the Field, but off the Field. He gave his entire life to making things better for all people, to bring everyone together. Like I said before, thank you very much for your reply and you have a great day

And I just often go out there and I either stand outside the gate and look at the stands and look at his name plastered on the Entrance sign, and it's just, you know, to understand what he went through while playing for the Dodgers in this Town and the names that he was called and things like that, it just makes me, it grounds me sometimes when I'm not feeling some of the things that I have to go through in my personal life at work or whatever, which is nowhere near the level what a Jackie Robinson had to endure

And every time I hear names, new names, and every time I sit back and I read about the Josh Gibson's and the other great players at that time, I just say, man, you know, I wish that we would have kept that league. How great would the negro league be right now? Thank you for your reply, as always. Peace
