Ms. Andrew, however, the takeaway point here is that you cannot be a feminist if you don't believe that every gender, including men, deserve equal rights. The goal is simply to have no one living a privileged life at the expense of a subservient gender. This is the difference between a feminist and a misinterest periodically affect both men and women. It tells women that they need a husband to survive men, that they should be strong and authoritative, and queer people do not exist

I think, as you pointed out, that feminism is equated with mizandry. That's true to some extent, and that is basically influenced by quite a lot of people who actually practiced my century under the garb of feminism. I think if that changes, a lot of positive attitude towards feminism will get developed. With that being said, I'd also like to add to it that feminism is considered a domain only for females, and men are almost always considered to be misogynist
