What’s in the name?
You. Identity forms an extremely important part of human lives. Identity solidifies a person's existence, and of course, it can be of any type. All of us have a familial identity, a religious identity, a national identity, an ethnic identity and so on. But the most fundamental is our name. Our name is the tool of recognition. We may be children, friends, lovers, relatives to different people, but we are first our name
So I really believe in making and creating our own identities wherever we go. And the moment you started saying about this particular thing, I really could relate your thoughts to whatever I feel most of the time. So thank you so much for this. Well, once again

When I was small, I used to have a nickname and that was pinky till in class five

Hi, Gauri. Thank you so much for your wonderful reply on my yes. You know, you put forth an important point that it's also important to create your identity. I think while name is something that you are often given, very seldom you choose it. But your other identities are something that you can create on a personal level, on a professional level, on spiritual level, maybe. So that is such an interesting thing. So thank you

If I'm not able to recollect the name, that means I have not been able to connect with that person at all because I have not focused on the most basic identification of that person. So all awards, rewards, recognitions, achievements, everything is left behind. What a person is remembered by after his long or he or she is long gone is by the name only
