Are you a mind with a body or a body with a mind?

However, I would like to believe that we are a mind with a body. At least I am. But it's difficult to explain and it's difficult to make up reasonable and logical combination of words to put that into perspective. So what do you guys think? Whether you are a mind with a body or a body with a mind, kindly share your thoughts and perspectives and opinions and let us discuss

I love the practice of philosophy, but I have to admit that when it comes to questions like this that have been pondered for what seems like forever, I often don't understand the questions. They seem mind boggling to me because, I mean, first, if we just look at language and science, what is a mind? What is consciousness? If you ask anybody to define these things, you're going to get a ridiculous number of different definitions

Middle path!

So I really like how you took the middle path. The Buddhist philosophy also talks about middle paths, that you cannot really pick sides at times, but then, yeah, it's okay. I think it's okay if you don't know for sure. And maybe some answers are worth not, some questions are not worth finding answers for. So, yeah, I mean, it's difficult typing, you cannot pick size in such kind of existential questions

SOUL MIND

But without my mind, I wouldn't be able to speak or use these muscles to speak. Let's say if I was brain dead, I would be in the hospital with the respirator breathing. For me, not even the autonomy of my heartbeat and respirations would be satisfied. We don't go through life thinking, god, did I breathe the last couple of seconds? Did I forget to breathe? Oh, man, did my heart forget to beat? No, it's just kind of automatic

You. Hey, beautiful. Thank you very much for your response. And, yes, you exemplified it pretty aptly. And this is the school of thought that even I subscribe to, that we are mind with the body. I mean, mind is such a powerful tool. It's unimaginably strong and powerful and a powerhouse of all the potential and imagination. It is what makes us what we are today in the human civilization. So, yes, absolutely, I second you

It literally is racing towards its inspiration advice, which is death. And I don't know what happens after death. That's another philosophy topic, right? Like what happens after death. But the thing is what happens to the mind, it is like the essence, right? Our soul, it survives. I believe that it does survive. Our soul goes somewhere, right? It exists on another plane. So this was what I thought. So those are the reasons I thought that

So, yes, death is a mystery to me, too, and what happens after death is the biggest philosophical question I think that there is, and nobody really knows for sure. But yes, even I do believe that a person, when he or she leaves the planet, so it's just his physical existence that goes away, but his or her mental or those energies what I mean to say is those energies, they continue to survive
