Grief

article image placeholderUploaded by @Grannyjilly
I want to say in March and March 1, she fell again and was under my sister's care, who is a nurse, mind you. Let me go back a little bit. Back in July, when she had her first incident, she had fallen. She was having some mobility issues, but I brought her over to my condo for six weeks. We did rehab, took her to the doctor, got her walking good and everything

And I think oftentimes when we have a deep loss, we often feel like it's controlling us, like the grief has control of our life for however long, sometimes indefinitely. And so I just wanted to ask you, what would you like to create through your grief? I'd like for you to think about that because this grief is powerful and it's your mother speaking to you from another realm in a way that she probably never could have being here in a body

But nevertheless, just feeling that I need to be strong for them. I guess I need to let all that go. I know I need to let all that go. But yeah, I had some things yesterday that happened to me that made me feel better to a certain degree as far as me feeling like the universe was reaching out to me. But yeah, I still feel my mom's presence. I went to her house yesterday because she has a house here in Missouri

But one of the things that really struck me, becoming the matriarch of your family is really just about you being in your integrity and showing your own leadership, which sounds like that's what you do. Anyway, so I just was thinking about the idea of the matriarch and matriarchy and leadership, how we allow ourselves to be in the flow of our life, no matter our condition, whether or not we're grieving
