The ship was docked for a few months for repair and I made the mistake of volunteering Brendan and myself for a week or two in Japan. He hated me for the suggestion he was determined to hate Japan since he would rather spend a week watching ESPN in the barracks. There was some heavy tension, including a fight that ended with me in a headlock. It felt like I was forcing him to have fun. So I stopped and had my own adventures I never take for granted

He stored all of my shower supplies so I could immediately shower and sleep at about 1500. After about 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep a luxury I went up to the ADP office and found a p*** off Brendan surrounded by monitors and keyboards. So much for us versus them, he said. You seem to be making friends quick. We took a walk around the ship and I apologized for sleeping. I would have just moved the bag and slept if I was him

We have even been caught in the rain making out at the front of the ship. It was like nature stamped the moment. We ran inside to escape the rain and then to the galley to grab some snacks. After, we snuck into one of the operations office she worked at to continue to make out session there. We promised each other a proper date when we got back to Guam. And it was amazing. We spent every moment of our date together
