What music inspires you most?♬

These two saxophone players. We are saxy. No, we are too saxy. I think that's what we are. Number two. Saxy, phenomenal musicians and yeah, local musicians in the northern California area. Commodores P. Fun. Who else do I love? Earth, wind and Fire. Michael Jackson. Like lots of this music with high energy, really cool rhythms, lots of horns and, yeah, I gotta have those horns. At least that's what inspires me

I love it because everyone can express themselves and their love for God in the way that they feel fit. We have musicians that just do music, but they're playing a gospel song. I love it. It inspires me. It keeps me going to know that there's so much rhythm out there, there's so much soul. There's so much music in people's hearts. And the music behind their hearts is God. So that's one. And then I love jazz

But when I think of inspiration, I think of more of an emotion towards passion, towards dreaming, creating for me. And I would say for me, that would be a lot of worship music for me. But it was hard because as a gay man, I had to leave my religion, my faith, my spiritual music behind for a long time because it. Because I found that that community rejected me because of my sexuality

And the other thing that inspires me to listen to music, or music that makes me feel so good about myself is when it's raining. So if it's any kind of music with rain, that's great. But like I said, it all depends on the time of day. I love musicals, and so there are favorites in various musicals that will get my feet tapping or get me to do something

So that's really cool to hear from all of you, and thanks again for your input. And, yeah, I think your life is only better when there's music involved. Solved. Listening to music, finding some meaning with music, and, yeah, hopefully we can all enjoy our music and share it with each other. All right, take care, everybody. Bye

Working. Hey, I thought I should share a song that I'm working on that is kind of inspiring to me because I knew the song before, but I've never actually played it or learned the chord progression and the bass notes and all this stuff. So let me perform this song and see if you like it. I'll just perform the first part of the song. I've got a backing track. Now I can play my mama wave all the things you are

Music that lights my soul on fire

And when I hear this question, it always makes me grin from ear to ear because I've worked with so many different artists in so many different genres, but I've never told anybody my favorite type of music or what I prefer. And I probably have an answer for everybody after listening to this. My favorite kind of music to listen to is music that lights my soul on fire. Doesn't necessarily have to be a certain genre. It doesn't have to be a certain artist

You. So what music inspires me the most? I love this question, all of it. And I say that with a straight face. My mother brought me and my brothers and sisters up to listen to everything. We were listening to everything from gospel music to swedish music, r and b, funk, house music, disco, rock and roll, just everything. Celtic music

I'm actually smiling because I'm surprised. My question is still living on. I thought maybe these things die out after a while, but maybe that's what swell is about, that the conversation can go on and it's really neat to meet the music peeps in this app. A number of folks who've responded to this question and my last one, who are involved in music, love music, play music, and in this case, work in pr for music industry

Oh, and hey, by the way, here's a song that really lit my soul on fire recently. It's a video. Check the link above. It's on YouTube. And yeah, I was listening to this. I couldn't help but start dancing and smiling. And the horn section, the fun, the bass player who's phenomenal all. I'll just let the video and the music speak to it for itself
