And while I'm not an overly religious person or anything like that, it was quite humbling to see that, to see that this is where the mighty Ganga, on which so much of our civilization is based. This is where she begins. This is Gormukh. It's called Gormuk because it's considered that the glacier is in the shape of a cow's mouth. And from there, the Ganga emanates. And it was beautiful

Thank you, Gauri. I am sure it must be overwhelming to look at the splendid view and be there at Gomok and feel that you are probably witnessing the history being rewritten. So thank you for sharing this with us. Have a lovely day. Bye

Hey Gargi. Very good afternoon. Thank you so much for inviting me to your trawellcast. I am so happy to connect with you and thank you so much for sharing your spiritual experience. I am elated, mesmerized. I don't know what to say. What do I say about Uttarakhand? It never fails to surprise me as a traveler. And I do not belong to Uttarakhand. But I wish I could know there is a way that I can come back to this realm again

So I can imagine to a bit what you experienced, and especially because we river this mighty river, right? As you said, our civilization grew from here. So I can imagine I would be overwhelmed too once I am there. So yes, I cannot wait to explore it myself, especially now when I have listened to your experience. It was encouraging and it was beautiful

And it doesn't matter whether you are a religious person or not. Everybody has a journey that happens. Earlier I was not. Now I have a ritual to follow, and life comes in various forms. And it's amazing what transpires through a glacier and how Ganga flows and provides a lot of fertile land through its tributaries and so forth and so on. But at the same time, Gargi, I could not help but reflect what's happening to these rivers when they approach cities

That is the place where I saw Brahmaputra and I realized the river is about 9 km across and that really zapped me. I have seen rivers right from the childhood, but I had never seen something which was as vast as this. So that was my experience. Not spiritual, but of being totally awestruck because of the phenomenon which nature presented. So it was lovely hearing you as well cast in your experience. Look forward to more. Thank you. Bye
