Art Of Appreciation - A Poem from my book of poems Treasured Perspectives

article image placeholderUploaded by @Gamechanger
I had started writing poems at a very early age but did not preserve my works in the initial years. The first record of my poems is from age six. Now these poems are personal experiences and feelings that are primarily reflections of the human behavior

Because nobody is actually perfect on this planet. And we all have certain flaws and we have to learn to live with our flaws. But if we come across a person who possesses certain traits that are missing in us and it's already there and he has accomplished that feat in his life then why don't we just appreciate it? Those words would mean a world to him. Thank you so much, dear. I'm so very grateful that I have a poetess with me now

Hi Ranjana. This poem is absolutely fantastic. What you said is true. Basically, appreciation doesn't only give happiness to the one who is being appreciated but also it creates a kind of happiness satisfaction in the person who is offering or who is giving that appreciation to. This mutually creates a bond of affection, understanding, trust, confidence and all. So there are a lot of things which can be actually related with this particular aspect

Thank you, Gauri. I'm so glad that you like the poetry and that you agree with me. Definitely. If both the people, the one giving and the one receiving in this case find that happiness. And there is so much more like you mentioned. And that is the beauty of appreciation. I'm glad that you liked it. Thank you so much. Have a lovely evening. Bye

This is so sad. No, on our human nature that we always look for the flaws rather than looking for the best things in the other people. And the minute we'll change this perspective, the world is going to be the most beautiful place. Thank you once again for bringing such a beautiful poem

And I think, you know, when we get to understand, you know, how appreciation works both ways, I think people will start appreciating more and more. So I just hope that we live to see such a beautiful day. And thank you for your time. Have a lovely evening. Bye

Thank you, Manji. Thank you for your wonderful words of appreciation for my work. I'm glad that you like this poetry. You are absolutely right in saying that. You know, we are always looking for validation. And validation really helps in building the confidence and self esteem of a person. And thank you so much. And I have shared another poem, the harsh hand of destiny. I hope you like that, too. Thank you so much and have a lovely day. Bye
