Why Laugh at Others

article image placeholderUploaded by @Gamechanger
Hi, this is your friend and well wisher, Ranjana Kamo. And I have a question for you today. Why do we laugh at others? You know, whenever a person falls or slips, hurts himself or herself, all that the spectators do is laugh. As if it's something funny. To see a person getting hurt. Now that is something which I can never understand. I'm unable to comprehend

I think it is a common response because we are ourselves so emotionally stressed. Whatever may be the reason it we just like it when something unfortunate happens to somebody. But if whenever you realize my thing is okay, you might be laughing inadvertently or unknowingly, but when you realize, when you realize that you have done a wrong thing or you have been insensitive and immature, please go and apologize. Thank you once again game changer for raising this topic and wishing all of you a very happy New Year

Thank you so much Devika, for stopping by and taking the time to go through this podcast and sharing such valuable insights. I have a better idea now. And you're so right in saying that if we laugh inadvertently at someone, then we should go and apologize when we realize that we've made a mistake. And that is so important. And because most of the time people lose sight of this aspect

When someone is in a tough situation, you become a kind of person who can provide solace to them, but not the one who hurts them even more by laughing. So you really put a best point forward. Thank you so much, Ranjana, for this wonderful swell and wishing you all a very happy new year in advance. Thank you

Thank you so much, Corey, for listening to my swell, and I'm glad that you agree. And that's great. That shows that we are human beings who are sensitive. So thank you so much, and thank you for your wishes. Wish you a very happy new year. Bye

Effort should be celebrated, not the tipping points. And second is when you fall and you laugh at yourself, it is a sense of acknowledgment of your fall and the action surrounding it. In that moment or momentarily, you understand where you went wrong. And if you have the courage within to laugh at yourself, it showcases that you have risen from your futile effort of your anguish in my scenario or anger in my scenario, and overcoming that aspect. So these are the two ends to it

I have seen so many times that people in movies or people in general, they make fun of people who are a little chubby, saying them mean things, body shaming them and laughing. And it's taken as, oh, it's a great thing to do, but it's not. So this is what believe. Thank you so much for this swell. Best wishes to you and a very, very happy new year to you

That is a sad part of life. And I don't know why people cannot empathize with the others because we are supposed to be the most evolved species of all the animals and if we are still behaving like an animal then what's the use of evolving so much? So that means there is a lot that we need to learn. There is so much evolution yet to happen. Thank you so much for sharing this. Have a lovely and a very, very happy and successful 2024. Take care
