You do not have to be PERFECT

article image placeholderUploaded by @Gamechanger
Blue passed the exam and red got low marks, which hurt him. He asked Blue when he got the result. We both studied well and I made sure to write detailed answers, but I could not get good marks as I was unable to answer two questions due to lack of time. How come you were able to answer all the questions and get good marks to this blue answered? Look, red, I have always told you to not be bothered with being perfect all the time

Hello ranjana ma'am, I think you have again chosen a great topic and thank you for the newer wishes. I think we are so being conditioned that you have to be perfect all the time that you have to score ten on ten. You have to be good at everything. Oh you have to multitask. Oh you have to do this perfectly in terms of weight also. Oh you have to be of this weight. You have to learn, you have to do the way others are doing

@kadambarigupta

Thank you so much Kadambari. And you have nailed it. You have mentioned about nobody is perfect and we can always be imperfectly perfect or perfectly imperfect and that is absolutely right and it is very well said by you and I think we need to keep in mind that we cannot be perfect in everything. Like you mentioned that somebody may be perfect in one thing but not in the others

And as exactly what you said about the red and blue, the second person, it's just that, just understand the whole nuances and then go ahead and live the life. There is no perfection and there is no rule as to how you have to live your life. And I totally, totally agree with you. And such a beautiful, swell and very good thought process. Really liked it. Take care dear. Bye

So I think that really proves the point that the imperfections, or probably a person who is an all rounder, would definitely do better than somebody who keeps working on being perfect in something. So. So I think we need to look at life from all perspectives and live a little. Because if we keep being perfect, we'll stop living. Thank you so much and it is always good to hear from you. Bye

And we fail to live in the present moment. Today in the morning, my son was appearing for his keyboard exam. And I was just telling him, just be good. Just be really good at your exams. Be very good at whatever you do. But don't just try to be perfect all the time. Because when you are competing with your very own self you will always try to excel somewhere. But don't just try to be in competition with people around

Hi, Swati. Thank you for responding and supporting all the time. I'm so glad that you agree. And I really liked what you told your son, you know, about becoming a better version of himself rather than competing with others. And that is the best thing to do because that is how we grow, and that is how we grow genuinely. And the other thing about living in the present, I think everybody forgets that. And it's so important to live in the present

Hi Ranjana, I absolutely agree with you. Most of the time, in the wrong perspective of becoming perfect and making things in a perfect way, we actually forget to enjoy and live in that particular moment. That is where most of us lose our happiness. As you rightly gave an example in the form of a story of a blue and a red one. And how because of dreaming or because of working for perfection, how red lost the essence

So I think you put it beautifully and it's a reminder that aiming perfectionism always is not healthy. We also need to embrace imperfections, no matter how uncomfortable it is. So thanks a lot. Thanks a lot for putting this out. I think one of the greatest lessons in life is to strive for being the better version of yourself and not always aiming for the best. Because it's okay. It's okay to have imperfections as long as it is not detrimental in your own interest of longer term

A very good morning, swell caste, friends. And this well started by Ranjana. Beautiful. You don't need to be perfect. You can never be perfect. That's the beauty of this earth or this universe. How it has been made. Nothing can be perfect. Perfect is not a word. Actually nobody can achieve perfectness. You think you're perfect. There'll be better way better practices, better people doing it in a much better way

If we keep nitpicking about each and every flower, at the end of the day, we're not going to get to our goal. So it can't be perfect. It can't be the way you want. But the thing is, we need these many flowers. And in a bouquet, no one's going to look at every single flower. So it's okay as long as it's good

Hi, Imaji. Thank you so much for stopping by. And you're very right in saying that we should be able to embrace our imperfections. And, you know, there are times when we have to do that. And you also mentioned about being a better version of ourselves, and I think that's the perfect thing to do. And thank you so much for your feedback and for coming back after such a long time. I hope you're doing well. Have a lovely day. Bye

And we definitely have to keep doing better, or we have to make our better best and keep improving, even on the best, to make it better than the best. Thank you so much for sharing your views. It was great listening to you. Have a lovely day. Bye

So I started writing that. But then my mentor said, whatever you're writing in third person is not going to make any value. So start writing it from the first person. And while I was trying to do that, I was again, looking for perfection. So each and every line that I wrote, I reread it and then tried to edit it then and there. And that was taking a very long time, and my deadline for the book was nearing drastically

It will come with making mistakes and learning from them and then improving ourselves. I think that's a very valid point that you made and a very important one. So thank you so much for sharing your views. Candy. Keep supporting. Keep listening to my podcasts. Thank you so much. Bye
