Cry for childhood

They stay together because they want to sort of give a united home to the child, but they are very deeply unhappy. And that, in a sense, does percolate to the child. Most children are more intelligent and sensitive than we credit them for being. So I'm not certainly advocating that one stays in a marriage because of the children

Now when you see the parents fighting or when something wrong is happening in the family, that impact will be always there on the child and that will always create an everlasting impression on them. So after listening to all the points, I really feel your title is apt. Cry for childhood

And Ramam, I think your swell just hit home in my case because I have gone through something similar in my childhood and it was a part of my childhood trauma. I don't blame them. I mean, they are great parents, great, great parents as extremely loving, supporting and caring. But their relationship had hit a rough patch, a rocky road, when I was transitioning from childhood to teens. And I suffered a lot. And I don't hold them again
