Rebuilding Ego

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
Human terminology that we all agree upon is we could easily name emotion plukocus tomorrow and decide upon it as so. A lot of people complain that words are changing in its meaning. Well, it was made up to begin with. The fault was feeling that this word should be that forever, when it never really was. It just popped into existence. So I say all that to say this if you feel you know yourself now, you have to dig deeper

It was never meant to be destroyed.

So I like this one for sure. The problem with the ego is that it is developed within that social construct, right? So within those things that we are told is considered right and wrong. So I know know you're not into any kind of religious or spiritual stuff, but I'm into spirituality. So I just think it would be a good part of this conversation. I know that as far as within spiritual teachings, it is never about destroying the ego

You're, Renee. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this well cast. And I had to look up the definition of spirituality. I had to look up the definition just because I never really thought about it before now. The quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed material or physical things. What we are doing right now is having a spiritual conversation, right? We are talking about separating from the material and physical things

It's. So I took the Jung personality test in 2021, and I just took the time to go back and find it. But before I send you the photo of it, I want to know what do you think my personality type is? Come on, just just play. Play into the game now

@Renee_Slay 🤔

It's not something you hide from the world, so to speak, but it's something, in fact, is a big part of who you are. You feel courageous in sharing it with people. And and something about that screams to me an SP. But I could be wrong

So it's ENFJ, but I took it in 2021. And I'm wondering if these things can evolve because we're constantly working on ourselves or changing. I'm gonna have to take another one soon and see what happens. There's no telling because I I ebb and flow. I guess we'll find out how good they are

I have to listen to the poetry now I have a hook for the poetry. Now that you're an ENFJ, does it change over time according to Personality typing and Carl Young? No, it only gets more refined over time. So as an INTJ I can't become an ENFJ in what I would interpret as an ENFJ would be from the perspective of an INTJ. It is the core making of my personality

It doesn't even mean that I necessarily have been in that experience, although probably but I take what's inside based on the feels and put it into that poem. I can also write from an empathetic viewpoint, meaning that I channel the feelings of whoever asked me to write the poem. So I have written for people that have been situations that I have not for them when asked if that makes sense, but all based in my fillers

Having the ego is like, I don't know, like a Super Saiyan of confidence you brought up. Why did why do we use the Latin word to describe dark skinned people black? And we talked a little bit about this yesterday. I mentioned the Sudanese. Yeah, the Sudanese people. I can only imagine when the Romans and the Greeks and Romans, their interactions with Africa were people of maybe Ethiopian Sudanese descent

So over time, you get slang and you get all these other euphemistic words to go with it to where it's just lost its meaning. But, yeah. Thanks for responding to the swell

You know, what I was trying to say is that being egotistical can do the individual more good than harm, and it can also do others more good than harm, as long as it benefits the egotistical individual. Right? As long as it comes all the way back to the individual, um, them who put everything into motion. Because to me, it seems like people who are very egotistical, who are egotistical, they seem to have this self confidence there
