Otherwise why even go through the trouble of making an account here on Swell? You got a voice note app on your smart device. Use that, then talk to yourself all the time on it. But you're here and so am I. And it is my job every time I record, to make someone care about the story. Not to make someone like it or dislike it, but to care

That it's meaningful for me, that I am engaging with the people who are commenting or replying on Swell or Facebook or Instagram and engaging with them based on that material. And then if it's someone else's original content, I only care about their response. And when I say care in terms of I'm saying it in terms of a level of engagement. I care in terms of, oh, I want to hear what they have to say back

At least you should, because now you have to be careful about how much you care. You can't care too much now, because now you're going to start looking at you're going to start looking at other content users on this app, and you're going to start looking at okay, I see what they're talking about. They're talking about food. They're reading books. Okay, that's what's popular. I see what's popular. They're talking about movies

And what they are talking about, a lot of it is because I do intend to respond. But there is also a curiosity there. Sometimes a swell will be phrased a certain way, and I'll think, uhoh, what did I do this time? Let's listen to the tribunal. But yes, you have to be a salesman of your idea in order to get feedback. But that's the problem, right? Not everybody is here for feedback, at least not direct feedback
