Boring myself into holes

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
It's like the same s*** conveyor belt. Similar topic. Similar topic. Similar topic. Mental health. Christianity. Christianity, mental health. I don't know. I guess I've just been on this app alone long enough, like two years and running, where I just need some excitement, man, and I got to make it myself. I realize I'm kind of like Michael Jordan in that way

How I fight the banality of Swell.

And so I'm trying to figure out what is the purpose of this Swell, because I don't think that telling people how boring they are is going to cause them to change anything, right? Maybe your example of not being boring is going to encourage people to do something different. I don't believe your comments with respect to not wanting engagement or not caring about it anymore or being strictly about you

But those are some of my thoughts about what you had to say. I appreciate it. And maybe we both continue to enjoy ourselves out here, but just know that the responses for me don't hold power over me like they used to. Now I just look and partially, sometimes I engage. But thank you so much for sharing with us

Welcome to Swell!

First, I wanted to apologize. It was never my intention to even imply that there was a lack of selfawareness. And hearing you say it and thinking back, I can definitely understand that takeaway. But speaking of truth, it's funny because I feel the same way about instagram. It doesn't really matter. It's more for me putting it out there, appreciating, whatever that thing is I'm putting there

But through my projecting onto him, not directly, but I would do it in my own way, making an original Swell and s***. I started to realize my shortfalls as a content creator. I hate to say the word, but I can't think of any other way to say it to which I thought it was about the conversation and it was about getting replies and it was about getting reselled, and it was about getting featured and it was about getting liked. But why?
@SeekingPlumb

@FryedOreo

I mean, even here on Swell, I don't even think of what I'm putting out as content because I want it to be a conversation starter. Because I want to explore the ideas or explore my thinking or have someone challenged me on it. It's interesting, I was more embarrassed by my projection onto you than I am having any sort of thoughts around my desires for a conversation or responses. Because like you, I don't want a token response

But there was one scene they were talking about a dog, and it just got my mind like it just went to a different universe of thoughts and suddenly I'm thinking about dogs and servitude. And then I thought about that post I made with the robots and servitude and all that sort of stuff. And it made me look at the animal in a different way, at least a dog, as a pet in a different way

Yeah, man. I will say that you're actually keeping swell alive. And I've told you this before. I know this sounds like I'm biased as h*** because of your boys and s***, but I'm just being honest. You've been keeping this you put out some sweet. You put out some swells, bro, where it's always interesting hearing you have that perfect delivery for this type of social media

I want people to think about an idea or a moment on here as it has something else is connected in their life. That's what I'm more interested in because I feel sometimes conversations can be a conveyor belt of just happenstance that you're really connecting to an idea that people already have. I feel like a majority of Swell conversations are like that. So if I was to say, what do you think about Trump?
