Do I want Responses, from you?

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
Because in the past, not just here on swell, but also anchor and many other social audio platforms I've been on, I put a lot of stake and onus and expectation of responses, and I would craft material to get responses because that was fun to me. It was fun having a conversation. It still is having a conversation and whatnot on the platform and maybe disagreeing with people or going over your life experiences and learning something new. That's always the goal

An age-old debate surely. I am happy to be here though.

Social Media and serotonin.

Because sometimes it's like, well, do I just want to be heard, or do I want to have a conversation? Do I want to hear your opinions? Do I want to engage in controversy for the sake of finding common ground. Why am I here? What am I getting out of this? Is there a point to this? I'm still not sure what I'm doing. My content is all over the place. I've been doing the daily prompts

@Isoellen

They just journal and blog and they don't even care about the responses because they're porting their stuff back to their facebooks and Instagrams and Twitters and all that. So they're not even really using this as a social component. But yeah, for me, the conversation is fun, like now, especially when it's a new face. I don't mind old faces, familiar faces. Those are just as welcoming
