Connecting Through Vulgar Language.

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
But even bringing how you naturally are to the surface gets a lot of respect from people. They don't feel as though you are formal. They feel that you are being authentic. I was thinking about this the other day and connecting with people, and we were talking about using your voice, and do you like the sound of your voice? And a lot of people seem to really enjoy a voice that is not as orchestrated, constructed, but as more so from the heart

Does profane language humanize your approach?

@FryedOreo My perspective….. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Or whatever the tone was. And then yours was like, yeah, some people use this, as you said, people use this as therapy and stuff like that, or whatever. Some people just can't handle it. Some people just can't handle strong, direct language. You know what I mean? I see it as colorful language. I have my own way of speaking, and it's very interesting, just the dynamics of communication and talk and words and things that people like to hear

That's where it kind of gets to a point of where it is aggressive towards a person. And that sort of conflict doesn't really look good for apps, especially small apps like these. Like you mentioned Twitter and Instagram or whatever. Those apps are so huge that they almost advocate for that sort of language. But you still can get reported, and if enough people report you and they see it, you can have something happen to your account, especially on Twitter. Right

You know who comes to mind? Charleston White. Yeah, man. He can come off authentic, right? Very authentic. He curses a lot, uses a lot of foul. He uses a lot of foul language. He reminds you of a family member, right? Your uncle or your grandpa, especially from the south. So he's very relatable. He's like that family member that says whatever he wants to know, old school. And I can see that. Right

Some people think you're crazy. Some people think you're funny. Some people will be a little standoffish, but they will react, right? So I think when you get the Charleston Whites and the Gary Vaynerchuk's or the Tariq Nasheeds or the Dr. Umar Johnsons, these are individuals that craft vulgarity to bring about comfort. But also it's not always obscene language, right? It could also be ideas. So you can say to someone, hey, I think that girl will sleep with me
