A possible cure for Depression?

I don't know if you guys have heard about this, but there's a lady that underwent treatment to get a brain implant to regulate her depression. The technology is sophisticated enough enough to where it can detect certain levels in the brain that are conducive to depression or depressive. Like, I don't know, episodes or chemical imbalances. And it corrects it. And she technically has went a year free of depressive episodes. And this is based out of a College in California

There's also a very small question that I have, and that is the line between man and machine, which is a question that has been arising as of lately in the last 20 years, I would say we have everything from battery powered artificial hearts, lungs, organs, et cetera. We have phones to automate and complete tasks for us without little effort or no effort at all
