I mean, a like might as well be real money value. For if I were to get 10 million likes on a post on Instagram, I would get a lot more followers. And from that I possibly could even get sponsor deal. Just from that alone, that's all it takes. Social media has become very adapt and great at finding popularity. Not necessarily is it good or bad, but it's great at finding popularity via analytics
And I think this is perfect for I don't want to say content creators, but I think it's perfect for those who they may not have a creative skill when it comes to social media, but because of their presence, maybe they look very attractive, right, or maybe they come from a wealthy family. And their followers, they just want to know what he or she have to say and they want to know what their lifestyle is all about

And that's what's happened with social media now the social currency has surpassed terrestrial television, cable television. I mean there are some views on YouTube videos that get upwards of 200, 300 million views. And you have some TV shows, they maybe get 18 million Nielsen ratings, they'll get 18 million viewers. So it's just far surpassed the way how traditional television works. But with that too, there's more of a stranglehold of the social currency that's involved

But is this always good for a medium that's thriving on creativity, that's thriving on ideas more so than consumer goods that you push down and you can cut vegetables and things like that? It's not to make house life easier or domesticated life easier. It's meant to inspire people and make people feel things. You know, with I guess with social media to some extent

Hey, Dewuan. Sorry about the quality. You know, it's funny because I tested this with a Lanyard, a Bluetooth Lanyard in listening mode. Oh yeah. And then they also used it in a simple audio recording mode using an app called IQ MQ Three. And it works fine. But obviously there's some handshake between the Bluetooth and then Swell which degrades the quality of the audio. I'm still going to keep testing because I've got these road wireless

Yeah, Bernie. I find Swell that's one of the areas that it does lack in is the audio. I have routed gear from my preamp Mic processor and my SM Seven B. And it sounds no different than me talking right now, which is glaring a problem for the audio. But I'm guessing it's a certain converter rate, bit rate that it crunches this audio. But I do notice for some phones, particular Android phones, they seem to have this really clear quality to them

And how strange it is that the world has evolved and allowed opportunity for individuals who in the past as you commented, may not have had the ability to gain a platform or a following that would have attracted advertisers or sponsors or anything of that nature to allow them to monetize their talents, which are unique in the platform in the social media sense

I myself have lost myself plenty of times on this journey towards success, towards getting the most likes, getting the most comments, follows, etc. But it doesn't ultimately matter that much in the grand scheme of things, you can't take these, like switches to the grave. You can't even take them with you if swell. Let me knock on imaginary wood expires. I've been on many apps that have died

So anyway, I'm spending more time grading writing styles because that's what I do. I teach primarily, I teach animators how to write to catch the attention of the studio. However, there is a whole sound design, the way that your sound comes through in terms of the gear that you use. And there's a whole dimension of conversational style which you have, which they could learn from. But that's not the focus of what I teach

So I would highly advise you steer as far away from this platform as possible in terms of educating the young. I don't know if that's what Swell's good for. I know in the past you have done that on Anchor and Lemur and other various platforms and iterations of that, but I don't know if Swell is good for that or even if I'm good for that. I'm great at just being me. That's something I can do well
