It's age. It's inevitable. We as humans will grow old and we will die. But why do we attribute beauty to youth and we attribute wisdom to old? Wish. I don't know about you, but the last time I seen a 90 plus year old, they aren't all that wise. In fact, they can't speak that well at that age. Yeah. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? Why do we prescribe it to youth?

And I'm trying, but, like, my hair, redheads tend to go blonde instead of gray, or they'll have a mixture, but their hair generally just goes lighter until it's a blonde color. And that's what my hair is doing now. My hair used to be a lot redder. That I don't mind so much

We're going to sneak them out the house and into our backpacks and go to school with those short shorts and those low cut tops and things like that, so that we can change clothes at school and then change clothes before we get on the bus and come home. So that our moms never know that we were wearing these things at school. Trying to attract guys attention that we shouldn't be attracting. But hey, when we're young, we want older guys

That, to me, is a recognition of where I am in life, my age and my stage, and I'm okay with that. I'm not 20. I'm not 30. I'm okay with that. So accepting that, I think, helps for women, but you can't make anybody do that. As far as men getting older and being deemed more attractive, yes and no. Men usually are more attractive the more resources they have

Whereas now the beard has become ubiquitous and is a standard now, gold standard to where men are actually getting surgery, hair plant surgery, to have a beard. I believe Floyd Mayweather did this, undergone this procedure, and he's worth hundreds and hundreds of millions. Why would he even need a beard, right? But there's something manly about it that people cannot deny. And women have it harder because it's so accentuated at an early age

As for the men, you had mentioned something about status where the older men aren't getting as much love unless they have a car or vehicle or something along those lines. That's interesting. I've seen a growing trend of older men, but they are styled in like the metro sexual look. Their beards are manicured and trimmed and all that stuff, and they kind of wear suits. It was like a trend for a little while

I think she was Dominican, but yeah, I was talking with her on the phone, so we went from Facebook dating to the phone, and that was when I seen the pictures, like, oh, okay. She looks like one of my mom's friends now when she showed me pictures of her, so it was like, oh, okay. And she changed her hair, like, drastically

So one of the things that I implore people when talking about health, attractiveness, beauty, all of these things is do not get caught up in the anecdotes, the exceptions to the rules because the rules are there for a reason, the averages are there for a reason. Now, the averages don't mean that we are all doomed to go and take part in that same reality. However, I think that we would be foolish not to look at them and give them some credit
So, you know, it's just that's how our society looks at aging. And yes, you are correct. Aging people are not really that intelligent. Yes, they are wise to some extent, but sometimes it may not seem like they're that wise, but they do carry a lot of wisdom, right? A lot of life experience

Isn't there something beauty and beautiful about a person achieving an older age? That's why I asked do we really want to live forever? Forever forever young. Obviously. Alphaville forever young. The song from the 80s. But yeah, I find disturbing trends that occur amongst obtaining or maintaining youth, a youthful like appearance. And I wonder sometimes, will we always want the impossible to look young but to think older and wiser? I don't know the answer to these questions
