Culture Epi06: Building Culture

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
And I watched the culture change here on the platform. And I must say, I love change and adapting. I get bored doing the same shit over and over again. So, with that being said, this concludes episode six of the miniseries on culture. And we have an exciting miniseries coming up, something I rarely talk about on swell. And I'm looking forward to speaking about it. Are you? You don't have to answer that yet

Are you ready to build? #culture #build

Interesting. Can one person bring culture, like one entering the masses? I suppose maybe you can come with the influences of one's culture that one was a part of. But can one person change an entire culture? Maybe it depends on the size of the collective. I mean, when it came to Trump, I mean, the election happened, right, and a lot changed then

I think with any aspect of culture, it usually starts with individuals of small numbers, and if it lasts long enough, it will become something adopted by ten times or 100 times as much people. But it will not be the same as it has started out. And I feel change occurs within culture, maybe to some degree as the same way it started. The few tend to affect how it will be for many, it just seems to always work that way

Man, I wish I could leave a mark on this world where I had some impact on culture. That would be pretty awesome. But I do want to ask you a question. Do you feel that there is a dominant culture, a dominant culture where, say, if you get married to an indian family, do you have to follow their traditions?

But, yeah, I guess it depends on if that matters to you. It's hard for me to really picture it because, yeah, if they're getting with me, obviously, you know, there's something in the culture they want to change if they want to be with me. So that would be more that person's problem than mine in terms of how their parents will deal with me or whatnot. But I think culture is dominant. It's dominant over the individual
