It's so amazing to me that for one, this technology is possible makes this possible, but also that these people just look like ordinary people. I mean, they're fables and stories about them and the self portraits. In a way, it made them more of, like mythologized to where they don't even seem like real people. But seeing these images for the first time, at least for me, I can see them as like real ordinary people

But we don't think about it in terms of just an evolving phenomenon. It's just amazing. So looking at these photos, it comforts me because human beings have always been human beings. We are a species and we have two eyes, a nose and a mouth. And it's just exciting to see this. I also think that part of our evolution is as people who are technical ethicists is to say, what can we do with these innovations?
