If you've been following me here from the margins, then you know that this is a place where I speak about women writers, black women writers, and I'm trying to highlight and give them their due and welcome you if you haven't read these and introduce you to new material if you haven't read these wonderful writers. But part of that has also been my journey in this writing world is sharing my journey in this writing world

Let alone have two nickels to rub together to keep a roof over them kids heads. Them his kids. And they require stability. But they my grandbabies, and I'mma make sure they have it. No need of them reaping what he sow. Tamika and Sasha, maybe you'll find roots again. Think about settling and getting married. Possibly making a family of your own. Well, that's it, and that's all. No need of kicking up a hill or ant hill

It feels like it's not an experience as much as it is a viewing right, that I am on the outside watching what's going on in this piece that is called the literary right, and that these other pieces are called general or commercial fiction. But those general and commercial fiction feels like experiences to me. And this piece also feels like an experience to me
