And my hands on the steering wheel was shaking because I was so afraid that I was like, my life could literally end for no reason right now. And that was back before I healed a lot of my fear wounds. But it shook me to my core. And yes, I very much would feel a lot more safe in the US. If police were unarmed. Also if individuals were unarmed. Because I don't like guns. I feel like they give the individual too much power

But it's just interesting that so many people get caught up in like, well, if the police don't have guns, then everyone with the guns will attack them and take over. But then it's like if we take guns away from the civilians, then the police and the government will be tyrannical and take over. And we're just stuck in this rhetoric that is just very American. And so I just wanted to affirm you and your thoughts there

Michael, thank you so much for sharing your experiences. And that, you know, speaks volumes as to why you have the point of view that you do. And I respect it greatly. And I really wouldn't wish the experiences that you and your father had on anybody. That was terrible. And it's not anything that I've ever experienced personally

But I also just feel like in a larger sense that it has to start with individuals and the regulation around what types of guns are available. Because when you look at these mass shootings and murders, it's these young kids who don't know nothing about nothing, but somehow got these huge rifles. How in the h*** are they even able to get them? That's my question

And so I don't even know how to function around people who have guns in their possession because it's like, let me not say anything wrong because who knows what is on their mind today, you know what I'm saying? But, yeah, I believe that progress starts slow and that none of us should really have anything to fear when it comes to guns. So I feel like we really should start moving in a direction where we can start making this place a little bit more safe, everybody

I can go into various parts in America, and I can feel, oh, the police are here. And that's a good thing. That's because I'm white, a white male who isn't going to have any trouble with the police

But at the end of the day, I really do try to keep my head out of it. This is why in my notes when I made this, well, I said this isn't something I usually post and I said this isn't something I usually post because I don't like politics for this reason. We know the issue, racism, but we don't know the solution

If you are radical or fighting for what's seen as radical rights in any arena, you're going to get squashed by, or you'll be seen as a threat by the powers to be. Now, that's true of any case. If you're a black person being seen as radical for standing up for black rights or advocating for just black people being human or whatever it is, that's just even more compounded. Yes, in America, but anywhere in the world

It's really not what I repeat. I can't really compare America to too many other countries, considering I don't know the details on other countries. I don't know where everyone else stands. I do know that the threat of being black in America is one of the worst
