I completely agree with all that you have said, but I do have some questions, because my husband and I have been together for three years now. We just recently got married. But he likes to kind of say that I shouldn't be spending my money the way I should be spending it. He tells me I should be saving it and what not, which I totally understand. And these are monies that are separate from you being able to maintain your lifestyle. His concern is one thing and his control is another. So if you're in a position to where he's trying to control how you spend and what you spend your money on, then that is an issue, especially if it does not affect the way you both live as a couple
