Unlearning

article image placeholderUploaded by @FilterCoffee
Hi, guys. This is Filter Coffee. I was just wondering about how complex or how simple the process of unlearning is to start. I'll keep this space open for your opinion and experiences, and we can maybe discuss more about this unlearning process and what role it plays in our lives. Do comment or reply to voice messages here. Let's learn from each other. Hello. Hi

And there are so many notions that have been instilled in us. Let's talk about growing up in an Indian society. So growing up in an Indian society when you are a kid in a typical Indian society, when you are growing up, you are instilled with so many notions. You are grown up in a patriarchal set up and that is very common. It's common to all of us. You are grown up in a patriarchal setup. You are grown up in a very conservative way

Do we take the consequences of our actions into matter or do we just keep in mind ourselves that's it also, I totally understand the perils of patriarchy is what we have problem with. Because like patriarchy, there's patriarchy as well. It is just one form of society, but the perils that have come out of it is the problem. Likewise, in any way, I'm not promoting any sort of societal system. But my problem is how do we get the right perspective into all of this?

Your spine is straight then whatever the situation may be. Whatever the changes. Whatever the adaptation you have to do you know that how much you as a person needs to change. How much you have to adapt by keeping your code intact that is what I think do share your perspective on that as well how do you draw the line? Because we all are adapting every day so how do you draw the line between learning and unlearning?

I think if we learn, we grow. So I think everyone should learn. And in our detailed daily life also, whatever things we do, we learn something

Hey, filter coffee. Hi. This is a very beautiful topic. If I want to talk about my personal experience about the unlearning, then I must say that I had this very negative and pessimistic kind of attitude in life, and it was very hard to change it. I was a person who used to quit it on everything, and it was very hard to change it. But with the process of unlearning that I learned during my journey, I was able to transform it

So I work in it where unlearning is a bit of a more prevalent term, since things are changing quite fast and you kind of have to change your way of working as swell. So initially when I started my job, I had my own strategy kind of set up methodology would be a better term, and I really wasn't getting any results for six months. And that was the very first thing that I had unlearned, that whatever I was doing was kind of wrong
