Welcome!

Hello, Felice, and welcome to Swell. It is nice to have you here, and I'm looking forward to hearing what content you share with us. I am curious, though, from your description, what is it that you grow in your urban gardening? Because I know there's a lot of different things that can be done in that environment, and I'd be interested in hearing some about that

So I plan to grow things that I use and eat on a regular basis, like lettuces, kale, zucchini, peppers, onions, and things like that. But that's going to be my first, I guess. Crops. And also watermelon. I can't forget watermelon. I love a good seeded watermelon, so I can't wait to try my hand at that

It sounds to me like you have a pretty significant plot to be able to grow things. Now, I will admit I've never been a gardening kind of person, but it sounds like you have a decent amount of space, which is cool that you're able to get all that done and that you are looking to do that. And also I was going to say something encouraging about how I hope that you mentioned not over committing

Grow some flowers or some food, please, not just grass. Okay. But anyway, that's my soapbox on that one. But yeah, it's just something that I think is really important to know how to do, to be able to grow something that could save your life or save someone else's life. And I think that's the thing that helps me to persist as well as just having that control over something so vital that we entrust other people with every day
