Dog Mind versus Lion Mind

article image placeholderUploaded by @FavColorBrown
He's not jumping around crazily looking for the bone like the dog was. So the reason behind that story, the reason why I found it very intriguing, was because we have both those dog minds and the lion minds in each of us. And those times when we have a dog mind, it can creep up on us. And the bone is a metaphor for anything that is something that we immediately react to. We don't think about. We just want it because it's feeding our impulses

I'm the type of learner where I like to hear, like, mythology was always my thing because I could learn in cryptic ways that deep, profound lessons in app locational value, if that makes sense. And this is one of those. So I wanted to just speak to it and say, to further that analysis of the lion versus the dog. I feel like it's a sense of desperation versus a sense of knowing

It takes courage to even be a lion or to have a lion mind because you need to be able to control yourself and be aware, become aware of the present moment and not react to it. So yeah, thank you so much. And I do like the metaphors. I feel like metaphors help people learn and make connections to other topics or situations that they might not normally make connections with. Take care and happy swelling if that's even of thing
