GenX Rant: Why is there a pet in a backpack on your back…in a grocery store?

article image placeholderUploaded by @FarikaB_Redux
Example if you need to go food shopping with a pet in a backpack on your back, you could always just order and pick it up, and therefore, you and your pet never need to be separated. Keep in mind, there are whole organizations right now that are profiting off of people who need to find ways to circumvent very ambiguous laws, by the way, of what is an emotional support animal?

Hello. So the answer to your question, yes, we've taken it too far, or I don't know if that's the question you asked exactly, but the longest short of it is anything that can be used can also be abused, right? And so there's always those that are going to abuse it. There are always those who know the loopholes and honestly get an emotional support designation. It's not that hard

They're not created for your emotional needs. They're animals. And I get that we do this. They're loving and they love and we love, et cetera. Don't get me wrong, I love animals, but I'm saying but recognize it as it is. And I think that's the problem. We're so busy crutching on animals, we're not even seeing the impact that we're having on the other humans, as well as our own individual selves by doing so

And then people are calling everything an emotional support animal. I mean, anything they can find, find any type of animal they can find, it's now their emotional support animal, and you can't do anything about it. It's crazy. It's ridiculous. And it is getting out of hand. I agree with you 100%. It's getting way out of hand. Way out of hand. And I agree. So thank you for this. This was great

But I think people, as you mentioned, are taking it just a little too far in that they rather deal with a pet and an animal because it makes them not responsible for who they are as humans in society and how they relate to other humans. And like you said, because animals aren't going to be able to talk back to them and be like, you know what? I didn't like what you just said. I don't like what you just did
