What can a year of solitude do?
Solitude will make you realize that staying alone is not the biggest fear, but staying in the company of people who threaten to forsake you and make you feel lonely even long before they have left that is darker than the darkest night. And so loneliness is not the biggest fear. But not being able to connect to and express as one's own authentic self is the only fear that we must ever have
