So it was similar to high school, so 100 was the highest. Okay, so I don't think they do that now, but in my day, they did. So 98 is considered very high. And the academics and the testing and the exams in the air force are not easy, especially for certain career fields. They're tough because they want the best of the best. Anyway, so that's my first one was the entrance exam that I took a second time

And he was flying, he was going through flight training, and then what happened? And this was unfortunately something he had since he was a kid, he had problems with his eardrums, and one of the doctors that did a test on him when he was a kid accidentally ruptured one of his eardrums, and that was obviously detected as he was starting out his training or testing for it. And unfortunately, his dream was to be a fighter pilot, but nonetheless

And then the break, of course, between getting off work and school. I mean, you're not going to go to sleep, obviously. I had to eat and study and do homework and then show up for class. And then the first hour or two was the worst. And then after that I'd kind of get my second wind and I would be fairly mentally awake until I was done at twelve noon

They never even heard of that sort of thing. Unless you served in the military or you've had a family member or something who's done that sort of thing. You wouldn't even know what that means. Source selection is what happens prior to when an aircraft is actually manufactured, long before it's even test flown anyway. So I was involved in that. So when I retested, and it scored really well, which I've already mentioned
