Most of that is on the Emmons moraine. This is one of the toughest hikes I've ever done. The ascent was steep, and it took a while. Now, as I ascended, I could hear water running beneath me. When I asked one of the other climbers what it was, they said, not to worry, it's just melting glacier water running down the mountain underneath. You just avoid any crevasses. Well, needless to say, this gave me an uneasy feeling, but I persevered
