The Genius of the Parthenon

article image placeholderUploaded by @enwells01
Hi, emily here. I'm sure you've heard of the Parsonan in Athens, Greece. It is, after all, the most iconic Greek architecture there is. Possibly the most iconic architecture ever, depending on who you ask. But how much do you know about it? Built about 440 BCE. And designed by two architects named Ichtinus and Calcratius, the Parthenon is nominally a temple to Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and strategic warfare

Hi. I didn't know that the Parthenon was built for Athena. I love Athena, and I am hoping to plan a trip to Greece in this coming year, and I'm definitely going to plan a trip to Athens to go see this. So thank you for sharing
