Don’t Confuse an Event With Your Interpretation of It

article image placeholderUploaded by @empoweredmind
Don't confuse an event with your interpretation of it. Life is just one thing, one event after another. You place whatever meaning you want on anything. Since nothing actually has a fixed meaning, this frees you from having your past be your future unless you want it to be. You can interpret an event however you like and choose your response to it. Begin separating yourself from the events in your life. This will help you decide how to interpret them and what behaviors will follow

We place meanings on events. #empoweredmindfulness #interpretation #meaning http://Empoweredmindfulness.com
