my backbone: the sea; or, The Sea’s Backbone; or, Backbone: The Sea

I gather it in my fist like an offering, like anger, like a firm handshake. But it all slips through. So I lie and wait, somehow supported on salt and hope. My backbone is nothing more than dust. So far from the coast. Now the distance is akonite. Violet teetering on blue. Something else to I cannot quite name. This sea, this body

This is gorgeous. A gorgeous feeling, actually. A gorgeous image of kind of weightlessness and emptying and the kind of questioning in the grasp of the a hand but almost without expectation and kind of morphing into the colors and the sea and the elements around you. It's really delicate the way you write. If my opinion is worth anything, I think I'm feeling the second option for the title more than the first. That's a beautiful, beautiful piece of writing. I really like it

I've just noticed that there are three options to the title. I thought there were two. It's the last one. Backbone, the C. That's the one that I resonated with the most. I've listened to it again. Yeah. So that's the my suggestion. The last of the three

Like playing between the idea of you as the reader who are reading or the person who is narrating, but, like, embodying it all into this personification. That was my feeling. Like, the textures that change and the colors and the feel moods and the feelings. The word that just popped into my head was thalasso. I think whatever you pick will be great. Just a little bit of my feedback in terms of what came to mind. Love to see. I am a thalasso file myself

Thank you so much for your thoughts and your comments and also for the thoughts, just the images and the words that came to you while listening to it. It's always really helpful to hear that. Thank you so much for taking the time

@nourishyou

Thank you so much for replying to this and letting me know. And also, it's normal that you would have thought there was only two options, because I'm pretty sure I said if neither of the options, which would imply two options, but there were three. Thank you so much. And thank you, as always, for your thoughtful
