What Has You Stuck?

I sat glued to the television watching this man not only operate an unmodified bow and arrow, but eat, change a tire by himself, drive an unmodified car where he was literally doing donuts in the middle of the street, and backflip off a diving board and swim. Matt also shared that he is legally able to operate an unmodified motorcycle. This blew my mind, but Matt made a very profound comment that struck me to my core and will be the focal point for my discussion today

I try to skip all the necessary steps and go right to the end, go right to the massive thing, the big thing that I'm trying to accomplish without taking care of myself during that process and learning everything that there is to learn in steps one through nine, the baby steps

And as a result of you realizing that it's that process piece, and you realize what has you stuck, what is one thing you think you can do different whenever you feel your mind going to that part of trying to skip over the process. How do you reground yourself to allow yourself to go through the process to get to that bigger goal? Really interested in hearing your thoughts

Not willing to sacrifice my sleep that’s already hard to come by to get things done.

I would definitely say what has me stuck is a lack of sleep. And therefore, what most people would do to accomplish a goal would be to lose sleep. I already don't sleep enough, so I'm not willing to lose sleep in order to accomplish a goal, because I honest sleep feel as though I won't be operating at my best if I'm sleep deprived

Because life cannot be all about work. You have to have some downtime. You have to create those memories with those that you love. And there's other things to enjoy in this great creation that we are a part of. So thank you for mentioning that sleep piece because I think it's key and I think it's relevant when we think about achieving our goals. There has to be a better way. Talk to you soon
