Many times while reading or in lectures I've come across a basic premise that seems to be repeated often and sometimes it's best summarized in the terms of a movie. And that being that we all have a movie in our head and we are the star of the movie in our head. However, everybody else that we come across, they're just characters. They're just actors in the movie in our head. And we can't really know everything about that person. We can't know their motivations

You make such a great and beautiful point. Like, truly, everyone goes through life with their own stories, their own schemas, like their own psychological makeup based on their past. And that's the crazy thing, right? As we're communicating with people, and it's like we are each having this entire individual experience going on in our heads and our bodies and our nervous system based on what we've built up over this lifetime
