Everyday vs Every Day! Which is correct—or are they both? #esl

I hate grocery shopping every day, but I have to with my huge family. You kind of get what I'm saying. Every day does mean exactly that. All the days. Now, by the same token, everyday as just one word has the sense of ordinary, plain, nothing special. Everyday people are not special. That's why we don't go to royal weddings every day

A lot of native English speakers confuse these two terms, despite the slight difference in spelling. #esl #SpeakingEnglish #everyday
