She talks about growing up and being sent to kind of like a cult. And so it's just a crazy book. She's very real, very inspiring. Such an inspiring book, for sure. But yeah, these are a few memoirs that I have read recently and really, really love. And I think you should definitely read them

So to hear that she was a part of that cult, I mean, it's just amazing what we never know about people until they reveal it in their stories. We never know what's going on in their actual life. And then the other book by McCurdy about being glad that her mom died, that's really something. This is why, even though I'm just a huge fan of fiction and fantasy, as I've gotten older, I've held such respect for memoirs
