It as a one eyed jockey. I met up with a one eyed race horse. The other riders didn't want to ride them. We had a great connection. We won the next two races in a row at Delta Downs, 1980s. We were both blind in the left eye. You he was a dark bay, 15 hands high, a thousand pounds. He

But, yeah, great to hear this story and really love to hear that connection between horse and jockey because it's real and it's very difficult to explain to people. But once that connection is there, horses are just amazing animals that kind of feel that connection on a different level than what's kind of describable, in my opinion. But great to hear from you. I love the story here. Winning two races in a row is not an easy feat to do, for sure

But I didn't know there was such a thing of one eyed race horses, or just one eyed horses in general. But I'm super stoked that you got that experience and sounds to me like it's pretty close to your heart and you were able to relive it here with us, and that's super special. Is that the horse in your picture on your swell cast, or is that a different horse in the picture?
