The Biggest Lesson I’ve Learned in my Creative Journey!

But for the majority of them, if you look at the end result of how they made a great sword, it's, they start every single day and approach as a craft. And so what I see in that myself is as a filmmaker, as a director, as an editor and whatnot. If I want to be great, if I want to make movies, if I want to do this, whatever, I have to show up every single day and constantly sharpen my skills

Being a creative is hard - there’s lots of ups and downs but it’s important to take your failures and turn them into lessons.

I think, in my opinion, in my categorization list, I think a crisis is a pretty big deal. But the notion is the same, and that's to leverage and utilize the challenges that we're facing at any given time. And that is a beautiful opportunity to live in that practice, to maintain a certain awareness and to be able to detect and determine not just when things are bad, which takes a certain amount of skill, but how we can improve it, the only failure is quitting

I've done this more recently, creating videos, and now AI art, since the arthritis won't allow me to illustrate anymore. And I've learned a lot of lessons along the way. I've gained a lot of skill and experience along the way

It's so well said. And I do agree with you that creating anything is so hard today. And even if it means you're doing a little recipe or you're creating a little story or you are creating anything, whether it's a photograph or a painting, there's so much effort that goes into it. But I think for me, the most important learning that I have learned is to show up and is to show up and create something every day, even if I write as a writer
