Why is Women's History Month Important to You?

article image placeholderUploaded by @DressingRoom8
Happy, Happy Women's History Month I'm so excited because this marks one year of when I first became a homeowner and I bought my home that I live in in Arizona and that might not have been something you expected me to say, but I think that when celebrating Women's History month like any other moment in time or celebration in America, at least it's important to think about why it's contextually meaningful for you and your family

Let's #celebrate and #inspire each other ❤️ #womenshistorymonth

Practicing what I Preach Daily. Using my voice to encourage, inspire, lift-up and support another woman #chosenqueenofbrooklyn

And I was able to go there and encourage this family and just give them some comforting words for the broken heart so that right there, when I can do something to touch another sister, that's what makes woman's history important to me. Be blessed and encouraged

You. Thank you for the kind words and such a beautiful reply, because that is such a great point as well. Women's History Month is another opportunity to really lean into sisterhood and encouragement. And I love that you shared that story of especially when we are struggling and we do need someone to just reassure us. I always love to share on social media that reassurance is like a love language, which I definitely need more often than I would like to admit. But it is wonderful

And if I don't have that answer, I don't mind researching the answer for them. So it's an incredible time to be a woman because we know that there was a time where we were very disrespected or told that we were only made for one thing. So I'm always happy to hear of women who are using the gifts that God has given them. So thank you for sharing this and you have a good day

It is because Women's History Month, I don't really focus on it or highlight it because women's History Month was not something that was ever brought up to me. I don't even know how long Women's History Month has existed and I haven't been compelled to look it up

@BunBunsBookPick Congratulations 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 #determination #power #direction

You. Congratulations. That is fantastic. And thank you for your kind words. Really appreciate it. And I couldn't agree more. Of all the times, one should definitely be reflecting throughout the year, but especially during women's history month, I think it's important to reflect upon, like, what you spoke on, which is not only your accomplishments, but your ability to overcome the challenges and or the naysayers

@Her_Sisu Thanks 🙏🏾 Excited for you to lean into it more 😁 #womenshistorymonth #celebration

And life is really hard, and there's no reason why one can't take the time to lean into joy, into celebration. And America makes it super easy because we have a 1001 different holidays throughout the year, and especially the ones that are anchored around the different identifying boxes that people sit within, through gender, through race, through culture. I'm like, why not?
