How committed are you?

article image placeholderUploaded by @DrayeGutierrez
I feel that we should all work on ourselves and commit a little bit more towards ourselves, because once you get through that, it is easier to keep up with the rest of the things that you commit to. People work, your work ethics, are you committed to that? Are you committed to be loyal to your partner? Is that a thing? Are you committed to be loyal to your friends? What is to gain out of that?

This is a great topic and one that I am very, very opinionated on this topic here is powerful commitment, the power to commit. That is a power, and it's also a skill. You touch on a couple of things that I appreciate, and one of them being committed to yourself, that takes practice

But when I was like, you know, like 18 or less than that, like 16 or something like that, I was saying, hey, if I'm not the richest man by 30 years old and I don't know what I'm doing with myself, and I would build my whole expectation of life around that, and my commitments became chimerical, too, right? And so there were things that I constantly broke, and I didn't actually set the right commitments for myself

Hey, sister, thank you for coming back. And obviously your two cent always expands the subject and yeah, I think what you just said is right on point. Sometimes we are hard on ourselves. When we fail ourselves, we do this little failure thing, this little failure process where we don't get yet the things we don't make it through for the things that we set up ourselves to do. And I think as you get older you get more mature and you understand a little bit more

It is only natural when you're young and you set some goals and some of these goals are based on our environment and the people around us and maybe what we are watching with the visuals of the eyes. But then as you get older, things start changing. You're right on point. I think we got to say set ourselves and commit to things that are tangible and I think inner work, it's a thing

And we have to keep a good lens of the things that occurred in the past while not letting our trials and tribulations and some of the things that maybe we're not too proud of affect the way that we are now. We still have to recognize that they happen and that they exist in the past, but they can't define who we are today. And we have to learn to navigate these waters while keeping everything in perspective and always moving forward towards the future
