I think Lloyd said it best in her song Stone in a nail salon. She says all the music you loved when you're 16, you will grow out of. I think that's what some of her fans are experiencing right now with this new direction she's taking with her music. Some people outgrow their favorite artists, a singer or a band that you listen to when you're a teenager, you may not listen to them anymore
