What Inspires You? Where do you get your inspiration from?
And from that what she said, it inspired me to really be present in whatever I'm doing, whoever I'm with, to be present to where my feet are. Inspiration can come from different places. It can come at a time when it's not expected in a line, a word. Maybe you're at your desk and you're writing some poetry at the coffee shop, you're writing some prose, and all of a sudden, some words come to you that catch you by surprise
You. I would first like to say this is a wonderful question. I appreciate the question and I also appreciate your words. There's almost always I'm sorry, so much thought and wisdom in your words. There is something about hearing you speak and what you have to say that I always find important, of some importance. There is always something there and at least there's always something there for me. So I appreciate that so very much. And I mean that

We're connected more than what we think and if we actually could value the connection that we all have. Although we speak different languages, although we have different colors of skin, although we have from different ethnic backgrounds some of us don't speak English and we speak other languages, other countries. But there's a connection between all of us. And I see that as a very spiritual thing, as a God thing

I get it from embracing my sensuality and being open and saying the things that others may not want to say. And I get my inspiration from the people that read it. Because the more feedback I get that people are touched by it or people actually feel emotion from it, that is everything. So the inspiration, I guess, is all around. Other poets, other topics, other things that I come across can be very inspiring. My love of the earth, my spirituality, for sure

And I might write about some hard things and some tough things but there's always hope. There's always something next. There's always something that one can gather from what I'm writing because I don't want it to be the end of something

Hey Barbara, I'm coming over to check out your same question that I just asked on my own, Swell. And I did pay attention to what you said into the replies from other people about what inspires us. And I will say here that for me, especially when it comes to poetry, it's almost always some huge emotion
