And coming up through actually seeing from more of like an activist music, you know what I mean? Like with a Gil Scott Heron, you know what I mean? Or that type, or Bob Dylan for that matter, and seeing that transform into conscious rap. And I was all into it with the Public Enemy thing. We had the leather African medallions, the whole thing. It was just a good time to come up. Now I can't understand what they saying

But if you look hard enough, you can still find some good music out there. They're still out there. You just have to look hard enough. But I don't think it's less real because they use more digital instrumental sounds versus organic instrumentals. That's just my belief. For me, it's all about the art. Can you take something that has already been used and put your own spin to it?
